In Toyota Rent a Car we are agents of change for the benefit of the Environment, we are committed to the use of practices that allow us to reduce our carbon footprint.

We have a 100% Smoke-Free fleet which guarantees our customers a healthy environment, Ecological actions like plantation of native trees in Guanacaste as well Recycling Programs in each of our offices and administrative offices, to take care of the environment and to encourage our customers and employees to do the same. 

We also are aware of the impact generated using our services, for that reason we try to mitigate these effects by using in our gasoline-fuel vehicles the VVT-I engine. This unique TOYOTA technology ensures high-level performance and more efficient fuel consumption while reducing CO2 emissions. 

 As part of this commitment, we compensate our carbon footprint through certificates of environmental services of FONAFIFO (National Fund for Forest Financing), which is delivered by the Ministry of Environment, Energy, and Telecommunications, we are currently certified with the fourth tier of CST (Certification of Tourist Sustainability).
